One step closer to innovations - we are starting the 11th year of the Green Light Accelerator.
For several years, we have been helping startups and budding entrepreneurs turn ideas into functional businesses. During that time, almost 150 projects from many different spheres of business took turns in our program. And that's why we're happy to announce that we're launching the 11th year of the Green Light Accelerator and bringing big changes with it!
One of the most important is the connection of Green Light with the VSB-TUO Technology Transfer Center (TTC). "This collaboration opens the way for us to involve scientists in our program, offering them the opportunity to turn their research into a functional business. We hope that the partnership with TTC will become a key element in the effort to promote innovation and technological progress in the region." said Green Light program manager Jan Adam Plaček Köhle.
At the same time, we are establishing closer relations with the University of Ostrava. Through this cooperation, we promise to expand awareness of our program, but above all to connect students into multidisciplinary teams. We are already planning the first joint event for students of both universities on the 2nd-3rd. of November, when the intensive Validation Camp will take place under the baton of ČSOB.
Michaela Manová, authorized head of the VSB-TUO Technology Transfer Center, emphasized at one of the recent meetings: "Our program is not only about financial support. It is about education, growth and creating strong ties. During the four-month cycle of workshops and seminars, participants will acquire the knowledge necessary for successful business, but they will also find out how they can improve their product. That's why we are happy that by combining Green Light and TTC we will be one step closer to innovative projects.”
